ZuneHD: NEW Level!

Ok so enough changes have been made to warrant another post.

Name has been changed to Spirit Level.

There is now a menu at the bottom with 3 buttons. On the left is normal level, middle is graphs, right is about.

At the top left on the level page there is a little save icon. Lets say you are hanging up a couple things and they need to be at the same angle, you can click the save button and it will store the current value in red next to the actual degrees so you can refer back to it. Press it again to unstore them.

On the graph page there are 3 checkboxes at the top, X, Y, and Z are the three axis' and it will graph the movement of each and will display the checked ones.

Please post suggestions etc :)

Download at the bottom.

@Carlton, The graph is basically to show the movement of it graphically. Place the zune flat on a table right way up. Now if you tilt it left and right that will be the X axis. Then if you tilt it forward and back thats the Y axis. And finally the Z axis will show force due to gravity, so throw your zune out the window and quickly go look and the Z will have some force ;) (I am kidding btw)

Nice projects!
Seem every developer involved into the zune scene is forced to re-invent the wheel Frown. Since Microsoft don't want give us any GUI we should (imo) try to coordinate a bit and  create, at least, a minimum set of form gadgets (textfield, textview, buttons, keyboard etc.) or even something more ambitious (toolbars, multiview managers, tableviews...) and get involved graphic oriented people to theme up a bit the things.
I feel that the zune community (forums, blogs etc) isn't really technical savvy so I think we should try to create some common projects to gather around as much developers as possible (maybe on the XNA creator forum?) and see if we can convince Microsoft to open a bit the API (internet access? marketplace? 3d?).

Alright, this level has some great graphics.

However, please please please fix the icon issue. A blurred icon just doesn't work well with me. Otherwise this is an excellent app.

If I could suggest adding a ruler function to this app (just an image that is to scale), so it becomes an all-around carpenter tool thing.

This is awesome. Thanks.

@Spice and @Hayden that error is caused by not having the zune extentions installed for XNA. Download and run this www.microsoft.com/.../thankyou.aspx to fix the problem

@jjbb787 WRT the icon, you will notice that all the icons are blurred to some degree due to the allowed size and the actual display size being different. I will be changing it in the next update however

@ciroip Yes I have considered this but donot have the time ATM. I will contribute if someone does start it though!

Well, something like a task list or some sort.  Like inserting a note to do with the date kinda like an organizer.

Or even having a budget thing.  Would be great keeping track of money of sorts.

Great post! I am just starting out in community management/marketing media and trying to learn how to do it well - resources like this article are incredibly helpful. As our company is based in the US, it?s all a bit new to us. The example above is something that I worry about as well, how to show your own genuine enthusiasm and share the fact that your product is useful in that case.
