Great little app. I have pinned it and will likely use it often to jot some things down. Thanks for the update.

I still need to know if there is a way to set the time. The clock on my Zune is set correctly, but the time on the slide out seems to be set to....maybe Redmond! LOL

As I said earlier, I have gotten used to the keyboard and so size there is not an issue. I'd like to see the Menu buttons on the home screen larger (the plus to add and the eventual options button). Takes me several taps to hit the plus just right.

And I lost previous notes (nothing important) but perhaps that is because I removed the app first and then installed, rather than over the top?

Very nice app.  Wish you would open source it over on Codeplex.   There is plenty of good stuff in there that would be useful to other developers.  Anyway, here are my comments:

1) I installed over the old app and it didn't delete my notes (nice).
2) My clock is also off, probably due to timezone (I'm EDT).
3) Caps works now and you can tell when it's locked (nice).
4) Agree with the add note button (+), it takes me several tries to hit it just right.
5) Keyboard is very nice and looking forward to you implementing "enter" key.
6) Note names aren't case sensitive (ToDo == todo), which caused me to accidentally overwrite an existing note.
7) Like the battery and time screen.  I wish the Zune HD team made it easier for us to find this info w/o pushing buttons.

I can still help you on this by making it faster and adding some extra features in (like hold to multi-keypress, etc.)

Every time I try to unpack it I get an error. -- Error 2600: The package contains files that should not be trusted.
Why do I get that error message/How do I get around it?

Great job with this, I really like it. Any plans to release the source code? I'm taking a C# class in school and have been messing around with some stuff like this (I was actually planning on writing a notes app for the Zune HD) and it would be amazing if I could see how you did it. Of course, if you don't want to release it, no pressure, but it sure would be cool to be able to check out what you did!

I second that motion, I would love to see the source code and learn from it. (Also it might stop giving me the error that the code cannot be trusted if I compile it myself)

I have XNA along with all the updates installed. All the other apps I have installed have worked perfectly, but not this one . None of the releases seem to work for me. I'll try and see if I find a solution online, and if I do I'll post it for future reference for others with the same problem.

I feel stupid (simple Google search solved the problem). For future reference even if XNA is up to date you still need the Zune extension addon. It can be downloaded at www.microsoft.com/.../thankyou.aspx

Looking forward to the next update. Especially when you get a chance to address the clock. The plus sign was only a minor annoyance that led me to believe the app wasn't working at first. Glad I wasn't the only one who was too fumble fingered to get it to go.

I like it but WHY does it make the zune restart when I try to quit. that just gets on my nerves.

hey i was wondering. when i downloaded znotes all that comes up is the blue sticky note and battery thing. the settings button is unclickables and so is the add note button there is no name button or anything else could you help me

Hi. this is kind of an "unconventional" question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you've got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me.
